The Rogan Brothers Band: Press

Five Fine Features.
In a time where most albums are too long, testing the listeners patience to the limit, it is quite refreshing to hear a cd with just five songs, especialy five songs in the class we are talking about here. It is very fine tunes reaching around different aspects in the category of southern country-influenced rock. All of them got something. And that's what make "Hang Tough" such a great release: who would not prefere five good songs than ten bad?

"One Rogan of rock was too powerful, so the guitar gods had to split him in two: The Rogan Brothers take to the tiny music box in Miller's for some outsized rock 'n' roll on Friday night(s). These fellows and their stellar rhythm section put on a great gig at the Noble Savages music fest...; head out a tad later, crack a beer and toast these bros, equal parts John Fogerty and a sleek, spacey Neil Young." "This is old-school songwriting in a new package. I hear flashes of Van Morrison and Neil Young, but they dress it up in a different, harder way."
